Liga Indonesia in Mobile Application: UIX Case Study

Shopee Liga 1

Introduction

Liga Indonesia is the biggest competition for football in Indonesia. This year, the biggest sponsor of Liga Indonesia is Shopee and the league name changed to be Shopee Liga 1. What if they want to launch their first mobile application?

This is the result of my exploration. In this challenge, I focus on how to target content to fit the data and preferences of each persona

Idea

Currently, Shopee Liga 1 doesn’t have a mobile application to access, they only have a website about the league. As the biggest football competition in Indonesia, I think they should have one to make their fans easier to access the news about the league.

1. Most football fans want to know everything about the league, especially their pride club. One of the most searched is the schedule, not just the newest match but also the future matches. We want our fans to find everything that they want to know about their club.

2. How to design the simple flow for the users, based on their preferences?

Scope

In accordance with the problem, so in this test I will discuss, How to find out what users want to know every time they open the Shopee Liga 1 Application.

Scenario

A user will soon download the application. The user will can see everything about the league and their favorite club.

Suggested Solution

There are 8 different kinds of tab menu in the official website https://liga-indonesia.id/ and here I want to make it just 5 kinds of tab menu.

1. Beranda

This is the first interface that the user will see when the user opens the application. In this section, the application will tell the users about the next game that will come. There is also the schedule like the time and the club name that will make the game. After that, there is the newest news about everything that is related with the league, clubs, and players.

2. Liga 1

In this page, the users can see everything that is related with the league, such as the game schedules, result of the game, table, ticket price, broadcast schedule, summary schedule, clubs, players, coaches, etc. Beside that, the user can know information about more than just this year, but also the previous few years ago about the league like the history.

3. Galeri

In this section, if the users are late or forget about the schedule of the game, they can see the highlight of the game inside the application and of course it’s official. There is also a video that is related with the league, players, or coaches. Not just videos, the users also can enjoy some pictures of the game or maybe download it.

4. Statistik

In this part, the application will show the user statistics about everything that is related to the league, such as top scores, top assists, top saves, top passes, etc. Sounds like not an interesting part but some of the fans curious about you are the player that is on fire this year.

5. Sisi Lain

The final section is Sisi Lain. This interface will tell the user about their favorite club such as the website of the club, application of the club, the store of the club, etc. They also can set the notification if there is important information that they want to know for the future to remind them.

The following is a brief presentation from Liga Indonesia Mobile Application idea. As a designer, of course the task does not end here. There should be more research and design test results that have been made so that the application is easy to use.
